On Tuesday, 16 June, San José School in Medina del Campo held a small ceremony during which the school management team, together with the teachers responsible for the ERASMUS+ CAGEA project (CAreer Guidance from an Early Age), presented participation certificates to the Year 11 students.
The ceremony was attended by all the secondary school students, the School Management Team and the teaching staff, including some parents of participating students and members of the School Council.
The event began with a presentation about the project, explaining what it involves, the resources that have been developed and the activities that have been carried out with the aim of improving the information and resources available to students when thinking and making decisions regarding their academic and professional future, in line with the project’s name: Career Guidance from an Early Age (CAGEA).
In addition, student Jorge Carnicero was congratulated for being the Spanish winner of a competition held as part of another European project focusing on the recycling of digital content. As part of his prize, Jorge will have the opportunity to travel to Slovenia next November, where he will collect his award in person, accompanied by the teacher responsible for the activity, Fermín Pérez. Jorge explained his proposal to everyone attending the ceremony and thanked them for their congratulations.
The ceremony then continued with the presentation of certificates both to the participating Year 11 students and to the teachers who took part in the pilot phase by preparing and carrying out the activities designed for the classroom.
The event concluded with a thank-you to all the Year 11 students for the interest they had shown throughout the activities, together with the hope of continuing the project in the project
