On Thursday, 8 October 2026, a dissemination event presenting the results of the European CAGEA project was held at the School of Psychology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in Greece, bringing together 18 teachers, parents, and students.
The event provided an opportunity to present the project’s objectives and outputs, including the tools and digital platform developed to support young people’s career guidance from an early age. The results of the evaluation of the project’s pilot implementation in schools were also presented, offering insights into the use of the CAGEA resources in educational settings.
A highlight of the event was the participation of two students from lower and upper secondary education, who shared their experiences of taking part in the programme. Teachers involved in the pilot implementation of CAGEA in secondary schools in Thessaloniki also shared their experiences and observations, offering valuable perspectives on the practical application of the project’s tools.
The discussion that followed focused on the challenges of providing career guidance in secondary education and on ways to promote the wider use and dissemination of the CAGEA tools. Participants exchanged views on how these resources could help strengthen career guidance and provide meaningful support to students, parents, teachers, and guidance professionals.
The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between schools, families, and career guidance professionals in supporting young people as they explore their interests and future educational and career opportunities. It also provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, share ideas, and discuss ways to further promote the use of the project’s tools and resources.
